On October 28th 2007 BMED routes become part of the BMI flights network of routes. BMI (formerly British Midland Airlines) The BMI airline routes will increase by seventeen and the only change to the former BMED flights will be that the Alexandria flight will change to Cairo. BMI say that the only real difference to customers will be the higher BMI level of service. Flights all depart from the same Heathrow terminal as BMI's domestic regional flights to transferring to one of the new flights will be much easier.
BMI also operate BMI baby flights and BMI charter flights for various holiday companies.
