Flybe, Europe’s largest regional airline started operating its full schedule from East Midlands Airport with a much-needed flight schedule serving Glasgow. This route was formerly operated by bmi baby, which has now closed down after being taken over by British Airways. The flight times of the flights been chosen to enable business travellers to be able to make the journey without having to include an overnight stay. There is also the opportunity to connect with flights travelling further north to the Highlands and Islands from Glasgow with Flybe’s partner airline Loganair.
There will be three flights each day mid-week and two flights on a Sunday and one on Saturday.
