Tui owners of Thomson Holidays and Europe’s largest travel group has revealed its move into the Brazilian holiday market with the acquisition of the Brazil's fourth largest accommodation-only online travel company MalaPronto.com for an undisclosed fee.
Thomson Holidays new fleet of Dreamliner aircraft are due to go into service in May 2013 and are offering holidays from some regional airports to Cancun and Florida on their new aircraft. The new Dreamliner could offer non-stop flights to Australia as the flight range of these Boeing made aircraft is over 9,000 miles.

So with the acquisition of an accommodation only company in Brazil and the new long range aircraft could this be what Thomson Holidays have planned? Holiday firms compete to offer new holidays and destinations so basically adding 1+1 does this equal a new range of Thomson Holidays to Brazil?
Time will tell and if so Thomson holidays could be offering an exciting new range of holiday destinations with local departures to replace the more traditional Mediterranean ones. After all we do like to send friends and neighbours postcards from somewhere new or different.
